Daniela Ievolo is an accomplished saxophonist who graduated from the Conservatory of Naples, Italy. With a rich background in both jazz and classical music, she has performed at numerous festivals, collaborating with esteemed Italian and Neapolitan musicians in duos, quartets, ensembles, and big bands. Known for her elegant presence and sweet, expressive sound, Daniela brings a versatile musical style to SUBBzero, blending her Neapolitan roots with influences ranging from classical to funky jazz and disco, adding both sophistication and warmth to the musical experience.

Karen Bourton

Soprano, Alto & Tenor Sax

Karen Bourton is a versatile multi-instrumentalist who brings her talents on soprano, alto, and tenor sax to SUBBzero. In addition to her work with the band, she performs alto sax and clarinet with Swing Unlimited Community Big Band, tenor sax with 20 to 1 Big Band, and bass clarinet in Come Prima Wind Band. Karen also regularly deputizes on various saxophones for soul bands and plays baritone sax in saxophone quartets.
